wild and crazy kids

nick's parents have arrived and things have been insane ever since. first, i got lost on my way to the airport picking them up. now, i have been to the airport numerous times and using several different routes, but when i got into the car i realized i had never done the driving. i did not trust myself with the directions i had recalled and got turned around quite a bit and later almost hit by a car - and when i went to put on the breaks my foot missed! who does that? so i used my mad swerving skills ;) come to find out several people have gotten mixed up in the same place because they have finished the years of construction in that area finally. that is only a portion of the story of that night i will spare you the rest of my adventure. yesterday was a frenzy of shopping in which the end result was fabulous, but the process was killer. nick's parents bought our bed which is put together, his brother and church in italy purchased all of our dinnerware, we exchanged some of our wine glasses to make complete sets, and nick and i bought the rest of our bedroom suite (dresser and night stands). our house is ready to go! well as far as the big things go. being around nick's family is reminding me of all the things that need to be done before the big day. it's stressing me out! i have been calm all along and i know things will get finished, but his family seems to make everything so stressful. it's like everything is an emergency and yet they can never decide on what they should do. i'm just glad they won't be this close to us for the whole month. just through graduation and then they'll come back later. glory! :)
