let it snow!
snow was in the forecast for today, now they've pushed it back to tomorrow. i'm thankful it wasn't today because i had to drive to the middle school i'm doing my clinicals in which is 25 minutes away. but now i'm ready! bring on the four inches! woo! however, i could do without the single digit windchill that is supposed to come with it. i taught about pantomime today for my seventh graders. we played a charades type game and they cracked me out. they are divided into teams and the team is given a letter of the alphabet. they have to act out as many words as they can beginning with that letter in two minutes time. i had labradors and losers for "l", breakdancing, boogers and butt for "b", toilet and tackle for "t", what a mess! some kids were so into it using the person next to them for props like a canoe or chair. of course others were scared out of their minds!!! we also watched the scene from hook when they imagine the food - it was quite a fun day. the kids loved it! and so did i.
