now that i feel better...

the local radio station had a contest today. if a person's grandmother came to the station and sang "my humps" by blackeyed peas they won tickets to their concert with gwen stefani and are entered in a drawing for backstage passes. i laughed really hard when i hear about it - they've mentioned it all weekend. and then i decided if i was a grandma i'd totally do it. then, a kid in my first period come running to tell the teacher his grandma was on the radio!!! how cool! ms. picha didn't know about the contest so she wasn't so excited - but boy was i!! apparently seven grannies sang today. i'm guessing he won tickets, but i wasn't able to eavesdrop on the rest of the conversation.
